Trips

Trips
Every year, we have this Asia Pacific Independence Meeting, wherein Independence team from each asia pacific member firms gather for a workshop/training/meeting regarding the initiatives of Deloitte on independence. Last year it was held in Bangkok, Thailand, which i failed to blog here..

Our flight is 8am and upon checking in the Philippine Airlines at Terminal 2, we were advised that we might be denied of boarding due to overbooking of the airline, (again! i was previously denied of boarding an aircraft too, airphils, but that’s to local destination only) and was given a choice of getting in the next flight but will be upgraded to business class or to wait until 3pm but we will be given P3,000 and a free roundtrip ticket to Hongkong that is valid for 1 year. Though our meeting will formally start the next day, and we actually can afford to travel that late, but it is also important to us to commence our shopping and sightseeing early, so we just decided to take the next flight in a business class, still a very good bargain!
